Here Are The 5 Hardest Games On The Seahawks' 2018 Schedule

The 2018 NFL schedule won't be released for a few more weeks, but with their opponents already known, the Seattle Seahawks have a tough road ahead of them if they want to return to the playoffs after missing out last season. These are the five toughest games that will likely stand between the Seahawks and a postseason berth:

5) vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys could have very well been in the postseason if Ezekiel Elliott didn't have to miss six games due to suspension, and with him back, Dallas is thought to be Philadelphia's biggest threat in the NFC East. As we saw last year, this game could have major, major wild card implications.

4) at Denver Broncos
Denver does have their questions marks on offense (though they will address their quarterback problems either via free agency or the draft), but their defense is still one of the best in the league and will be a test for quarterback Russell Wilson. Even though they've missed the playoffs for the past two years, they have every expectation of making it back next season.

3) vs. Minnesota Vikings
It's no fluke that the Vikings were one of the best teams in the NFL this season. They have quality receivers, a good quarterback in Case Keenum, a dynamic rushing attack (remember, Dalvin Cook will be back and healthy next season) and an absolutely dominant defense. They're an all-around team that will expose any and all weaknesses the Seahawks have, even in Seattle.

2) at Carolina Panthers
Seattle and Carolina have played seven times since the start of the 2012 season, and while the Seahawks have won five of those games, the Panthers have won two of the last three meetings. Wilson and Seattle's offense has had their problems against Carolina's quality defense, and Cam Newton has experienced some success against the Legion of Boom. Both teams have playoff aspirations and traveling across the country for this one makes it an extremely tough test.

1) at Los Angeles Rams
The Rams had the league's best offense in 2017 and should be just as good in their second year under head coach Sean McVay. Todd Gurley is one of the best players in the NFL and LA's high-flying passing attack should test a Seahawks defense that faces major questions. This will be one of the biggest tests their defense will face all year long.
