SAN JOSE — Patrick Marleau is putting James Corden on alert: your job as the host of the Late Late Show isn’t safe.
Instead of sharing some laughs with his old friends on the Sharks, Marleau celebrated his return to San Jose Wednesday by doing his best Corden impersonation, belting out some carpool karaoke with his kids and Toronto Maple Leafs teammates Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews.
On their drive to breakfast in San Jose, the three Maples Leafs superstars loosened up the mood in advance of Thursday’s showdown with the Sharks at SAP Center by dancing and singing along to the Village People’s “YMCA,” a scene that was fit for Corden’s carpool karaoke on the CBS late night talk show.
