SAN JOSE -- The Sharks had mostly been able to hold Los Angeles Kings stars Anze Kopitar, Tyler Toffoli and Drew Doughty off the scoresheet for the first two games of the Western Conference first round series. That doesn't mean Sharks coach Pete DeBoer thinks those players were off to bad starts.
Going into Monday's Game 3 at SAP Center, the Sharks had limited the Kings to just one even strength goal with Kopitar, Toffoli and Doughty combining for just one assist. The Sharks have tried to limit second and third chances around the net take away time and space from the Kings, who were listed as having a combined 34 giveaways through the first two games.
