The San Jose Sharks trailed for a grand total of 9.9 seconds Thursday night, yet came away with no points to show for it, as Dustin Byfuglien’s goal at the 19:51 mark of the third gave the Winnipeg Jets their first three-game winning streak of the season.
Scoring was not an issue for team teal, who got four pucks past Ondrej Pavelec, including two on the power play. The Sharks were uncharacteristically lackadaisical defensively, and a few silly mistakes directly led to Jets goals, including the game-winner.
