BUFFALO, N.Y. — Make it a perfect 10.
The Buffalo Sabres spoiled Evander Kane’s return to his former stomping grounds Tuesday, extending their winning streak to 10 games with a 3-2 win over the Sharks in overtime.
Jeff Skinner scored the game-winning goal at 1:41 of overtime in a mad scramble in front of the Sharks net.
The winning streak ties a Sabres franchise record set in January 1984 and matched in October 2006. The Sabres are 4-0 in overtime and 2-0 in shootouts during their winning streak.
After spending three seasons in Buffalo, Kane joined the Sharks in a deal at the trade deadline last winter.
