SAN JOSE -- The Sharks will have a handful of challenges in their second round playoff series against the Nashville Predators, perhaps with getting to goalie Pekka Rinne at the top of the list.
Rinne has a 10-5-4 record and a sparkling .945 save percentage and 1.80 goals against average in 20 career games against the Sharks. He won both of his starts against San Jose this season, including a 28-save performance on Feb. 6 in a 6-2 Predators victory at Bridgestone Arena. Rinne stopped all 23 Sharks shots at even strength."The one thing he does really well is he plays the puck, he's really active, he catches a lot of pucks," Sharks captain Joe Pavelski said.
