LOS ANGELES — With Logan Couture sidelined by the flu, the Sharks dropped their fourth straight game, falling to the Western Conference’s last-place team.
Couture joined Erik Karlsson, Joe Pavelski and Radim Simek on the Sharks absentee list on Thursday, a loss his teammates struggled to overcome as they came out on the wrong side of a 4-2 decision against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Sharks scratched Couture prior to pregame warmups because of flu-like symptoms.
With the loss, the Sharks now trail the Calgary Flames by five points for first place in the Pacific Division standings.
