Mike McGlinchey is expected to miss four to six weeks to have arthroscopic knee surgery

The 49ers announced that second-year tackle Mike McGlinchey would miss 4-6 weeks after having his knee scoped. That means for the new month, or so, the 49ers will be rolling out Daniel Brunskill and Justin Skule as their starting tackles. Incredible.

Brunskill has played eight snaps this season. Six of those came after McGlinchey was injured against the Browns. Two of them came against the Steelers when McGlinchey was having equipment issues. If you thought the 49ers were a run-heavy team before, we would see even more after another starting lineman goes down.
