The San Francisco 49ers fell to the Houston Texans 17-0 in a sloppy effort at NRG Stadium on Thursday night.
Here is what stood out from the game.
Trey Lance
Lance looked like a quarterback who hadn’t played in a game for nearly two weeks and had only two days of practice in the previous six.
At first glance, Lance’s numbers, he completed seven of eleven passes for 49 yards, don’t look bad. What those numbers don’t show is an overall lack of accuracy, which limited yards after contact for the receivers.
On the first series of the game, Lance was forced to move to his right.
