They used a first-round pick only two years ago on his potential replacement, Mike McGlinchey, an established right tackle capable of shifting spots. Or the 49ers could turn to Daniel Brunskill and Justin Skule, who got their feet wet last year in Staley’s spot, with Brunskill really surprising coach Kyle Shanahan in an impressive way at tackle.
