The Los Angeles Lakers have made do without their two superstars for the last four weeks, but reinforcements are on the way. Marc Stein tweeted that Anthony Davis has been cleared to resume on-court basketball activities, although a timetable for when he returns to game action has not yet been confirmed.
Davis has dealt with various ailments and has been limited to just 23 games this season. In that time, he’s averaging 22.5 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game, both of which are second on the team on a per-game basis. Davis’s most recent absence relates to an Achilles injury that has kept him out since February 15.
