SANDY, Utah – (Thursday, September 26, 2019) – Utah Royals FC MF Desiree Scott has been named to the Canada Women’s National Team by Head Coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller in anticipation for a friendly against Japan on Saturday, October 5 at 11:30 p.m. MT. The match will be played at IAI Stadium Nihondaira in Shizuoka, Japan.

The call-up marks the first time Scott will appear with the Canadian National Team since the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup this past summer.
