SANDY, UTAH (Wednesday, September 4, 2019) – Utah Royals FC FW Christen Press has been selected as the National Women’s Soccer League Player of the Month for the month of August after scoring three goals in the month to climb to seventh in the league’s scoring charts and helping URFC back into playoff position with an unbeaten month.
This marks the second time the California native has been awarded this honor. She was previously selected during the month of April in 2015 during which she recorded four goals and one assist in two games while with the Chicago Red Stars.
