On defense, the secondary could use some adjustments as well. Nothing major, but upgrades and tweaks exist for Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones. Dak Prescott is in the midst of an elite year. So his change is actually very simple: Kellen Moore needs to let Dak sling it more! Don’t run in bad situations, but let Prescott lead the offense. He could also benefit from a few adjustments to the Cowboys’ personnel. Blake Jarwin and Tony Pollard have played well this year, they just haven’t played very much. It’s time to unleash them. Jourdan Lewis has earned more playing time and at least a starting spot at nickel corner. But will the Cowboys actually start him over Anthony Brown? Let’s hope. Michael Bennett’s contract is roughly $2.5 MM for the rest of the season, cheap enough for the Cowboys. The Trade Details are cheap too: The Cowboys gave up just a 2021 conditional 7th round pick.
