On this episode of College Football Daily, our 4 hour Recruitment Special for Early Signing day 2018 features a look at the Top 25 Recruitment Classes of 2018. College Football analysts Tom Downey and James Yoder take you through each ranking with the breakdown of the total commits, 5-star recruits and the players you need to watch. Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs were one of the big winners of the first early signing day. No. 16 overall recruit 5-star OT Cade Mays chose UGA over Clemson and Tennessee, and No. 2 DE in the nation Brenton Cox. They were also joined later in the day with Jamaree Salyer No. 1 OG in the country and ESPN 300 cornerback Divaad Wilson. Georgia has now surpassed Ohio State and takes the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation. Alabama landed their first 5-star commit DL Eyabi Anoma who chose the Tide over Michigan and Maryland. James Franklin's Nittany Lions secured 5-star DE and No. 4 overall recruit Micah Parsons. In the ACC, Clemson landed two top guys 5-star OT Jackson Carman and 5-star DE K.J. Henry giving them the #2 class in the ACC behind the Miami Hurricanes. Mark Richt and the Hurricanes have the #5 overall ranked class in the nation. In the SEC, Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators lock in 4-star QB Emory Jones who flipped from Ohio State to Florida. On top of 5-star DE Eyabi Anoma, the Crimson Tide added 4-star DT Christian Barmore to their 2018 roster. In the Pac 12, Oregon, UCLA and USC all fought for top honors. The Trojans locked in 4-star DE Abdul-Malik McClain and 4-star CB Chase Williams, USC ranks with the No. 3 class in the Pac-12. The Oregon Ducks and their new leaded Mario Cristobal come in with the No. 2 class in the Pac-12 with their latest commits Oregon 3-star DE Andrew Faoliu, and 3-star DT Sione Vea Kava. Washington claims the top spot with their newest addition Marquis Spiker 4-star WR. In the Big 12, it's a Longhorn world and we're just living in it. Texas claims the No. 3 overall recruiting class with their latest commit 5-star CB Anthony Cook. The Sooners are still awaiting their first 5-star but their latest addition was locked in today 4-star OT Brey Walker. Lastly, the Big 10 had a day! In addition to landing the #4 overall recruit in the country, Penn State added 4-star WR Jahan Dotson who flipped his commitment from UCLA to PSU. The Buckeyes who fall one spot to the No.2 recruiting class in the nation picked up 4-star WR Cameron Brown who flipped from Nebraska.
