Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Joe Burrow, Chase Young, Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields & Tua Tagovailoa

Episode 183

Heisman trophy power rankings feature star power in Joe Burrow, Chase Young, Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields and Tua Tagovailoa. All those players and more are still in the Heisman Trophy Race, so check out the Top 10 player in the latest 2019 Heisman Trophy Power Rankings. The power rankings got a shake up with Tua Tagovailoa sidelined with an ankle injury. Heading into week 11 of the 2019 college football season, Joe Burrow has made a strong case to bring home the award. And despite Ohio State not playing this week, both Chase Young and Justin Fields remain in the conversation. Could Young be the first defensive player to claim the Heisman since Ndamukong Suh in 2009? Joe Burrow has just 55 incomplete passes this entire season. Coupled with his 30 TDs and 2,805 yards passing, Burrow is playing himself into the Heisman frontrunner conversation and making a case to be the No.1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Is there a better football player in college football right now? The Heisman Trophy Race is neck and neck for Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields and Tua Tagovailoa. Tua’s status is still questionable heading into the matchup vs. LSU this weekend but this game has more implications than just SEC standings. A win over Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers, Tua is right back as a frontrunner. The question is: can he be completely healthy by game time? Ohio State continues to prove that it’s one of, if not the best, teams in college football which is no surprise considering 3 of Tom’s top 10 players play for the Buckeyes. Chase Young has 15.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks and 29 tackles through eight games, earning himself a lot of hype and at the right time. He’s joined by teammates RB J.K. Dobbins & QB Justin Fields who are also in the mix to win the Heisman. Heisman Trophy Race: Chase Young, Joe Burrow & Jalen Hurts Lead The 2020 Power Rankings

Episode 180

The Heisman Trophy Race is starting to take shape as the College Football Season moves on, so it’s time for a fresh batch of Heisman Trophy Power Rankings. Jonathan Taylor will remain in the mix as his historic college football career continues, but Wisconsin’s loss to Illinois hurts him badly. Tua Tagovailo continues to put up big numbers, but another ankle injury might hurt his Heisman hopes. AP Poll: College Football Top 25 Rankings For Week 9, New #1 Team + Winners & Losers

Episode 179

The College Football AP Poll Top 25 has been released for week 9 of the CFB season. The Top 10 was shaken up after Oklahoma was upset by Kansas State, Notre Dame lost to Michigan and Auburn lost to LSU.
