Four-Star CB Damar Hamlin Commits To Pitt Over Ohio State, Penn State

Four-star cornerback Damar Hamlin (Pittsburgh, PA) announced his commitment to the Pitt Panthers over Ohio State and Penn State on Monday night.

Hamlin had been favorite to land with the Buckeyes after he took an official visit there on Jan. 15, after which he said they "set the standard." However, he took his last official visit to Pitt this past weekend, which is when the Panthers were able to seal the deal by appealing to his desire to stay close to home.

Hamlin is ranked as the No. 14 cornerback and No. 148 overall prospect in the country, including the No. 3 player in the state of Pennsylvania.
