P.J. Tucker saw a franchise constant, vice president of player programs Mark West, and realized that it has just been the two of them and the athletic trainers around the team since he arrived in 2012.
Once Markieff Morris was traded Thursday to Washington, Tucker became the only remaining Suns player from the 2012-13 season that preceded General Manager Ryan McDonough’s hiring.
“I’m the Last of the Mohicans,” Tucker said. “With the guys I’ve seen come through these doors, it’s unbelievable to be the one guy. I was the 15th guy on that (2012-13) roster.
