Bob Stoops Throws Oklahoma Players Under The Bus After Loss To Texas

Oklahoma Sooners head coach Bob Stoops doesn't want to take blame for the Sooners' loss to the Texas Longhorns Saturday.

The Sooners were favored by 17 points, but fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter. Oklahoma was unable to recover and lost 24-17. Reporters asked Stoops about the Sooners' possible lack of motivation, and Stoops said his staff did everything they could, even showing the team clips of Texas'  upset in 2013.

"You can put it all on me, but I don't play," Stoops said in his weekly press conference.

Stoops' quote comes at the end of the video below.

Stoops said early in the clip that he didn't want to call out anyone, but his ending comment seems to place the majority of the blame on the players.

The Sooners entered the game 4-0 and #10 in the nation, but dropped to #19 following the loss.
