Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington’s suspension could have ended as soon as a week ago.
But if the Cardinals are in a hurry to get him back, it’s hard to tell.
“I don’t lose one minute’s sleep or even think about it,” coach Bruce Arians said, via Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. “Until he becomes a Cardinal again, it’s a waste of breath.”
Washington was suspended for at least a year by the NFL for multiple violations of the substance abuse policy, and he could have applied for reinstatement 60 days prior to the anniversary.
