Rangers Edge Leafs In Thrilling OT Victory

Fresh off a loss, the Rangers came into the Scotiabank Arena wanting a win and they did just that.

Alexandar Georgiev did his best vintage Henrik Lundqvist impression and held the Leafs to one goal on 45 shots. Pavel Buchnevich opened the scoring in the third period for the Rangers, putting a loose puck in the back of the net after charging the Toronto goal. After a flurry of Maple Leafs attacks, Georgiev stood tall and eased the game into overtime for the Rangers. Ryan Strome would finish off a chance to the right of Frederik Andersen to seal the victory for New York.
