New York Rangers out to end the decade with a bang in Edmonton

In what is the final game of 2019, the New York Rangers continue their four-game road trip in Canada with an intriguing match-up against the Oilers at Rogers Place.

There is also the opportunity for the Blueshirts to win three consecutive games following impressive victories over the Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The success over the Maple Leafs in their last outing was arguably the Rangers’ biggest and most eye-catching win of the year given the amount of adversity they went through during the game, and they must now build on that going forward.

They should be refreshed too after not playing since Saturday, while the Oilers haven’t been in action since suffering a 5-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Friday.
