New York Rangers Hire John Lilley As Director of Player Personnel and Amateur Scouting

The New York Rangers have hired John Lilley to fill the position of Director of Player Personnel and Amateur Scouting.

Lilley, 49, had been a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization since 2006-07, working his way up from scout to Director of Scouting, and most recently Director of Amateur Scouting. Internationally he also served as an Assistant Coach for Team USA’s U18 and U17 teams from 2003 to 2006.

As a player, Lilley played at Boston University and had an NHL career of 23 games with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
