The New York Jets were feeling invincible after a dominant preseason win against the Green Bay Packers, but a humbling defeat against the New York Giants reminded many fans that this team is still very much a work in progress.
The loss for the Giants was illuminating, in a way. Multiple players that were already on the fringes of the 53-man roster turned in some very disheartening performances that might make it very tough for them to convince Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey that they are worth keeping around.
