Saints vs. Packers recap: Everything we know

The New Orleans Saints lost an ugly one to the Green Bay Packers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on “Sunday Night Football,” wasting the 197 yards from scrimmage Alvin Kamara racked up while losing starting left guard Andrus Peat to a friendly fire in the process.

It was hardly the game they hoped for against Aaron Rodgers and his Packers teammates. The defense limited Rodgers to going 6-of-13 on third and fourth downs, but allowed 4 first downs by penalty and consistently failed to win their matchups with his bargain bin receiving corps; wide receiver Allen Lazard, the usual third option in Green Bay, caught 6 of 8 targets for 146 yards and a touchdown pass.
