Saints ride Cameron Jordan and friends to a season high sack total

The New Orleans Saints defeated the New York Jets 29-6 on Sunday afternoon. The Saints pass rush was unstoppable, destroying their season-high with eight sacks. The team is building momentum and is clearly bought in to defensive coordinator Brandon Staley.

The Saints previous record was five sacks in week one against the Arizona Cardinals. They came close to this number against the Miami Dolphins in week 13 with four, but couldn’t reach it. Those were their only two games with over three sacks this season.

The Saints eight sacks are the third highest team total in a game in 2025, just trailing 10 by the Cleveland Browns and nine by the Denver Broncos.
