In preseason last year, Aug 15 to be exact, Saints linebacker Demario Davis was asked what he thought about the Saints linebacker corps and the defense in general. His response was that he was playing with a bunch of goons and savages. There are times when you want you guys to be cerebral. There are times when you want them to be the bigger man in the fight and walk away. Mostly though, having your guys play like a bunch of goons and savages is exactly what the head coach ordered.
