The 2018 NFL preseason will draw to a close this Thursday night as the New Orleans Saints host the Los Angeles Rams in their final exhibition game. Each team has won two of its preseason contests, though the Rams plan on continuing to rest most of their starters, including quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley. The Saints will very likely follow head coach Sean Payton’s precedent and do the same with quarterback Drew Brees, running back Alvin Kamara, and defensive end Cameron Jordan, among others.
All-star defensive tackle Aaron Donald still has not reported to Rams practice, but likely will show up soon once his reps and the team agree to a monstrous contract extension said to contain as much as $80-million guaranteed.
