Speaking after practice on Thursday, Aug. 23, Saints first-round draft pick Marcus Davenport spoke with the media about how things have been going while being injured for most of training camp.
For many fans, not seeing Davenport in practice has meant that he’s been at a stand still. Sort of out of sight, out of mind. But that’s not the case. He’s been limited in what he’s been able to do while dealing with a nagging groin injury, but he’s been using the time available to him smartly.
And he hasn’t been alone in the process.
