The Saints seem to have been working, seemingly, for an eternity to get their pass rush improved. Since the departure of Junior Galette in 2014, it’s been the Cameron Jordan show in the Big Easy without a supporting act. Actually, it’s been since 2013 that those two players produced 12 and 12.5 sacks respectively that the Saints have had anything close to a dominant pass rush.
In that year, the Saints posted 49 sacks for an average of three a game. Through three games of their 2018 Season, the Saints have produced six sacks.
