Maybe Alex Okafor wasn’t happy that the Saints had added rookie first round pick Marcus Davenport to the lineup. Whatever the case was he asked to be able to explore free agency at the end of last season and the Saints let him. He’s now reportedly signing a three-year deal with the Chiefs and the Saints will need to find a replacement for 2019.
Okafor was brought in as a free agent in 2017 after having played the first four years of his professional career as a 3-4 outside linebacker with the Arizona Cardinals.
