METAIRIE, La. – Once again, the New Orleans Saints' Pro Bowl hopes are only slightly better than their playoff hopes thanks to a disappointing 6-8 record.
Defensive end Cameron Jordan, quarterback Drew Brees and fullback John Kuhn are among the Saints' most deserving candidates for the all-star rosters, which will be announced on Tuesday night. But when you’re a sub-.500 team for the third season in a row, there isn’t much buzz to help you rock the vote.
That's why the Saints were shut out last year for the first time since 2007 when Pro Bowl rosters were initially announced (Jordan was later added as an alternate).
