The Montreal Canadiens were supposed to get swept by the Toronto Maple Leafs, but they came back from a 3-1 series deficit and defeated them in seven games.
They were then supposed to get swept by the Winnipeg Jets but ended up doing some sweeping of their own.
And then just like the Jets got swept after sweeping, the Canadiens were supposed to get swept by the strong and terrifying Vegas Golden Knights, but they won the series in six games, winning it 3-2 in overtime tonight.
