After back-to-back overtime thrillers to erase a 3-1 series deficit, the Montreal Canadiens headed back to Toronto looking to complete their comeback and book their ticket to Winnipeg for the North Division final. The Toronto Maple Leafs welcomed a small crowd of just over 500 frontline health care workers as they looked to flip the script and move on themselves.
Unfortunately for the home team, the Habs came out and played their best game of the series — possibly their entire season — and will move on to face the Winnipeg Jets for northern supremacy.
