Adrian Peterson's Appeal Denied, Vikings RB Will Not Play This Season

Adrian Peterson's appeal has been denied, and the Vikings star will not play this year.

Peterson was suspended without pay for the remainder of the 2014 season on November 18, but had appealed the decision in hopes of playing before the end of the year. Peterson was indicted on child abuse charges on September 12 after an accusation that he beat his four-year-old son with a switch.

Appeals officer Harold Henderson upheld the NFL's decision, and Peterson remains suspended indefinitely.
