3 Reasons Why The Vikings Are GUARANTEED To Beat The Broncos

The Minnesota Vikings are 2-1 and in great shape after dropping a frustrating one to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. Many experts predict that momentum to hit a brick wall when the team visits the Denver Broncos this coming Sunday, but we're not buying that in the slightest. Here's 3 Reasons Why The Vikings Are GUARANTEED To Beat The Broncos.

3. Teddy Bridgewater Is Due

Bridgewater has thrown for 505 yards so far in 2015 with just one touchdown to his credit. However, he's only thrown two interceptions in a game manager role and should get more and more comfortable with a full-speed Adrian Peterson lined up behind him (more on All Day later). The second-year signal caller is due for a big game, and we have a sneaking suspicion that's coming against a more-spotty-than-you-would-think Denver secondary.

2. The Pass Rush

Minnesota's secondary can be sketchy in one-on-one coverage at times, but those problems are papered over my Everson Griffen and the pass rush. Broncos preseason fantasy RB darling CJ Anderson averaging just 3.46 fantasy points per game in non-PPR leagues, putting the onus even more on Peyton Manning and the Denver passing game to produce. If that continues and Ronnie Hillman can't do major work in relief (and that will), the Vikings should be able to run through Denver's blocking schemes with creative blitzes and stunts and wreak havoc.

1. Adrian Peterson

The Vikings are an entirely different offensive beast when Adrian Peterson is lining up regularly in the backfield. It's almost impossible to wrap him up when his legs are churning downhill. When he's going full throttle, the rest of the Minnesota offense opens up and threats like Mike Wallace and Kyle Rudolph become deadly. The Broncos are formidable up front, but not formidable enough to hold down Peterson for long.
