I have two injury notes to pass on to you after the Spartans put pads on.
CB Johnny Adams has an ankle injury and was out of practice in a boot today. Coach Dantonio said it wasn't serious and he should be back after the weekend.
Freshman LB Lawrence Thomas has a shoulder contusion. Linebacker Coach Mike Tressel said he didn't know how bad it was or what it was exactly. He said he essentially got dinged up the first time he got hit in college. Tressel expects him to be out at least a week. Dantonio said Thomas should be out 1-2 weeks. Thomas didn't think it was that bad saying it was a shoulder sprain. He injured it hitting running back Nick Hill (who is nearly 100 lbs smaller than him). This is just me going here, but from what I've heard from Tressel in the last week and what I've seen I don't expect to see Thomas on the field for the Spartans this season.
