Huge news today in preparation for Week 6 between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.
49ers RT Mike McGlinchey is having his knee scoped and will miss the next month or so. He joins LT Joe Staley on the injury bench as Staley broke his leg back in Week 2 and himself is set for a November return timetable.
That means the Niners will be starting both backups at tackle: 2019 NFL Draft sixth-round pick Justin Skule on the left and third-year Daniel Brunskill on the right.
