The San Diego Chargers after a tumultuous season under Norv Turner are finally moving on and looking for a new head coach.
One of the most popular names rumors to take over in San Diego is Steve Mariucci, but suddenly the Chargers may be interested in Lovie Smith.

Lovie Smith is currently on tour, interviewing all over the country for multiple coaching positions. Earlier this week, Smith was in Philadelphia interviewing with the Eagles, but Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that Smith is on his way to San Diego to interview with the Chargers.
The Chargers would love to have Lovie Smith as their next head coach, but this might not be the first pick for Lovie.
Lovie is one of the most sought after coaches this offseason, and my be enticed to take on the Eagles or even the Cardinals coaching positons before he takes the Chargers job.
Regardless, keep a keen eye on reports of his interview with the Chargers this upcoming week. If the Chargers can do a good job at selling him a life in San Diego, they might just bring on one of the most talented coaches available this offseason.
