After several seasons of declining success from Norv Tuner, the Chargers and Turner have finally parted ways.
For several weeks now, Steve Mariucci has been linked with the Chargers as the potential replacement for Norv Turner.
Before the Chargers will hire a new coach, the Chargers have announced that they plan to find a new GM first and then a head coach. Fortunately for Chargers fans it is rumors that the Chargers are close to hiring a GM, which means a soon close on the coaching saga as well.

Mariucci has said multiple times that he is in fact interested in returning to the sidelines and specifically would be open to the San Diego job.
Steve Mariucci is a good coach and one that the Chargers will look long and hard at over the next few weeks. Do not be surprised if Mariucci is quickly named the successor to Norv Turner in San Diego.
