The Green Bay Packers could enter the 2026 league year with only one defensive starter set to become an unrestricted free agent: Quay Walker. However, Brian Gutekunst has mentioned that he wants to keep him around long-term, so it would not be a surprise if a deal gets done before then.
With everyone else under contract through at least 2026, Jeff Hafley should have a solid couple of years to build chemistry and develop his group without worrying about constant changes. That said, Green Bay could still move a piece or two if the opportunity comes up to add valuable draft capital.
