Warriors Notebook: Golden State Looking To Rebound After Bad Loss To Lakers

The Golden State Warriors were flying high last week and put up another seven-game win streak, but that came crashing down in the most unimaginable way possible. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Warriors Notebook update:

Last Week:
Coming off their stunning comeback victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, the Warriors survived a tough home contest without star point guard Stephen Curry to beat the Atlanta Hawks 109-105 in overtime. That was followed with another showdown against OKC, in which Golden State used another fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Thunder 121-106, extending their home win streak to 44 games and sweeping the season series against Oklahoma City.

That was all well and good until the Warriors took on the Lakers in Los Angeles on Sunday. Golden State came out flat and had their worst shooting game of the season, making just 13.3 percent of their three-pointers and lost 112-95. This game was the first game in NBA history where a team with a winning percentage over .900 faced off against a team with a winning percentage below .200, making this the biggest regular season upset in NBA history.

What's Next?
Golden State returns home for a six-game homestand, starting with a showdown against the Orlando Magic on Monday. They'll then host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, and then have a back-to-back against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday and Phoenix Suns on Saturday. Read more Warriors news in the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps.

Injuries:
Backup small forward Andre Iguodala is listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury that kept him out of Golden State's loss to the Lakers.
