The Golden State Warriors are getting their head coach back. Steve Kerr will return to the bench for Game 2 of the NBA Finals. He also plans on coaching the rest of the series.

Kerr had missed most of the playoffs with complications from a previous back surgery. In fact, it was reported earlier today he likely wasn't going to coach in Game 2. He hasn't coached since Game 3 of the Warriors' opening series against the Trail Blazers.
Kerr said he made the decision he'd coach on Sunday morning. Kerr has had several good days with his back and felt good enough to return to the bench.
Mike Brown will return to his assistant coaching duties. He has served as the interim coach for the Warriors.
