Emily Sadler of Sportsnet: Elliotte Friedman spoke with Maple Leafs president Brandan Shanahan yesterday morning about the future Lou Lamoriello as team GM.
“No decisions have been made. I haven’t spoken to any of the particulars,” Shanahan told Friedman. “We are concentrating on the rest of the season and the playoffs. Any decisions about the organization won’t be made until after the season is over.”
Nick Kypreos wonders if Shanahan already knows what is going to happen.
“I can appreciate the quote, but I also think it’s rather inconsistent in the way that Brendan Shanahan has led the Toronto Maple Leafs in the last four years,” he said.
