NHL Postseason Caterwaul: Bruins and Maple Leafs will go seven

Brad Marchand scored two goals as the Boston Bruins forced a seventh game with a 4-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at ScotiaBank Arena. Tuukka Rask stopped 22 shots and Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk notched the other Boston goals. Morgan Rielly opened the scoring and Auston Matthews cut the deficit down to one in the third period with his fifth of the series before Marchand clinched it with an empty-netter.

Tomas Hertl became the first player in NHL history to score a shorthanded goal past the first overtime to give the visiting San Jose Sharks a 2-1 win over the Vegas Golden Knights to send the series to a decisive seventh game.
