After adding some key pieces, including two-time Vezina Trophy-winning goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky this offseason, the Florida Panthers seem poised for a playoff appearance.
Unfortunately for the Cats, the Eastern Conference is incredibly deep, and they are in for a tough challenge. Just look at the Atlantic Division, The Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and possibly the Montreal Canadiens should all make the playoffs.
It’s not crazy to think that Florida could edge out either Boston or Toronto for one of the top three spots in their division, but doing so will be no walk in the park.
