Three-Star Florida DE Commit Impressed With Team's Start

Your Florida Gators football recruiting news update for October 14th:

Three-star 2016 Jacksonville defensive end JaQuan Bailey is set to play for the Florida Gators less than a year from now, and he's been really impressed with the program he's set to join during their 6-0 start.

"Their season has been going great and I'm looking forward to seeing how they play at LSU, which will be the real challenge for them. I just want to see how they play against them," Bailey said. "They've put in a lot of hard work, and guys are really believing in the coaching staff."

Bailey has been in regular contact with running backs coach Tim Skipper. Skipper and Bailey have built a trusting relationship revolving around straight talk.

"Him and I are very close and he would even tell you that," Bailey said. "We talk about everything and don't sugarcoat anything with each other."

Bailey is ranked as the #57 weak-side defensive end in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.
