BREAKING: 4-Star QB Emory Jones Flips From Ohio State To Florida, Signs With Gators

Emory Jones, a four-star quarterback from Franklin, GA, announced that he is signing with the Florida Gators after having been committed to Ohio State since July 2016

Despite being committed to the Buckeyes for so long, Jones took several visits to other schools over the past few months.

Alabama was previously thought to be the favorite to flip Jones, but after taking a visit to Florida this past weekend, the Gators were trending up. Florida State was also a serious threat to land him.

New Florida head coach Dan Mullen has been pursuing Jones ever since he took and job, and after four-star quarterback Matt Corral flipped his commitment from the Gators to Ole Miss last week, they went all-in on Jones.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is ranked as the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 40 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247sports Composite.
