Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves III Declares For NFL Draft

Florida Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III announced on Instagram that he will be declaring for the NFL Draft:

 

I have officially decided to declare for the NFL draft ! The amount of love and support I've received since coming to Florida cannot be put into words! I can't be more grateful for such an amazing university ! The love I have for UF will never parish and I am forever a gator! #ForeverFlorida

Hargreaves is the No. 2 rated cornerback in the 2016 NFL Draft behind Florida State's Jalen Ramsey and is projected to be a top-10 pick. However, he's widely considered to be the best pure cover cornerback prospect in the class.

He becomes the third key Florida junior to declare for the draft, joining running back Kelvin Taylor and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson.

The 5'11", 199 lbs. All-American recorded 33 tackles and four interceptions with four passes defensed this season.
