BREAKING: Florida Wide Receivers Coach Resigns, To Be Replaced By Legend Chris Leak

The University of Florida Athletic Department has just announced the resignation of wide receivers coach Joker Phillips, citing personal reasons.

Chris Leak will assume the duties of the wide receivers coach for the 2014 season effective immediately, according to head coach Will Muschamp.

On paper, Leak appears to be the perfect fit as UF's all time leading passer and captain of the school's 2006 National Championship team. He's served on the staff since May of 2013 as a graduate assistant.

Coach Muschamp said of Leak:

"Chris is a bright young coach. He has been working with Coach Roper and our offensive staff and is very familiar with our players and new system."
